AI-enabled Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF)

The Learning Arc — From Human Facilitation to AI-Enabled Collaboration

This two-day programme is designed as a deliberate progression.

We start with human facilitation fundamentals: how groups think, decide, and behave, before introducing AI as a collaborative partner, not a shortcut or gimmick.

By the end of the course, participants can confidently design and run an AI-enabled team session that improves clarity, inclusion, and outcomes. Specifically, very fast creation of user stories,  change experiments and deep insights into team dynamics.

"Probably the best training I have been to ever! An explosive potion of theory, practice, tools and reflection and great facilitation. High paced, demanding and extremely useful. Exhausted and Happy!"

What is Team Facilitation?

Team facilitation is the practice of helping groups think, decide, and move forward together, especially when the work is complex, uncertain, or emotionally charged.

Modern teams don’t struggle because they lack meetings!

They struggle because time together is fragmented, overloaded, and shaped by hidden dynamics, power, and competing perspectives.

Good facilitation creates the conditions for:

  • shared understanding

  • meaningful participation

  • clear decisions

  • sustainable action

This course focuses on facilitation as a core leadership and collaboration skill, not a set of tricks for running workshops.

It is designed for managers, team leads, scrum masters, coaches, and anyone who regularly brings people together to do real work.

Participants learn how to:

  • design and guide collaborative sessions with a clear purpose and outcomes

  • work skilfully with group dynamics, conflict, and uncertainty

  • integrate AI as a support for collective sensemaking and decision-making, without losing human judgement or trust

This programme goes beyond traditional “agile facilitation” by addressing how teams actually operate today, i.e. distributed, fast-moving, and increasingly augmented by AI.

The result is facilitation that helps teams use their time together well, make better decisions, and move work forward with greater clarity and ownership.

Featured Learning Outcomes

Participants will be able to:

  • Design and facilitate collaborative sessions with clear purpose, flow, and outcomes.

  • Demonstrate a modern facilitation mindset grounded in neutrality, psychological safety, and shared ownership.

  • Create conditions where diverse voices contribute meaningfully, even in tense or uncertain situations.

  • Use AI to support collective sensemaking, synthesis, and decision-making in teams.

  • Facilitate key team and agile meetings with greater clarity, engagement, and impact.

  • Work productively with conflict and disagreement without shutting down conversation or forcing alignment.

  • Strengthen team dynamics and trust through visible, intentional facilitation practices.

  • Reduce wasted time by improving the quality of group thinking, not by rushing decisions or enforcing process.

These five days were a game-changer. I’ve mastered the art of open-ended questions—something I’ve attempted many times but never quite nailed until now. This training didn’t just teach techniques; it reshaped my thinking process. Where I once rushed to speak my initial thoughts, I now strategically pause, allowing my second and even third thoughts to surface. This isn’t just a skill learned; it’s a great communication advantage gained.

This is my second course with AWA Trainers and hopefully not my last! No other trainers come close to their training approach. The perfect balance between theory, practice and bad jokes make a 5 day intense ICP-ACC course enjoyable and manageable. Would recommend to anyone looking to develop as a coach in their personal and/or professional life.
